Early Career
In 1964, Murdock founded a bank but ended up bankrupt, losing nearly $100 million.
Undeterred by this failure, he moved to Los Angeles and started a tile manufacturing company. He then ventured into real estate and established the Pacific Holdings Corp.

Murdock's breakthrough came in 1982 when Pacific Holdings Corp.
